AGBU Young Professionals of Montreal held a Hockey Night recently with the objective of raising funds for Syrian-Armenian children who are attending the special welcoming classes functioning within the Alex Manoogian School.

YP Montreal Chairman Jean Akkoyan and Steering Committee Members Olga Markarian and Sandra Afeyan visited the Alex Manoogian School to hand over a cheque of 2000$ in support of the School’s initiatives in welcoming and integrating the newly arrived Syrian-Armenian students. Accompanied with Principal Chahe Tanachian, they visited the welcoming classes and got acquainted more closely with the work the School is accomplishing in support of the Syrian-Armenian families.
