On June 12, 2015, AGBU Alex Manoogian School held its graduation ceremony with special guests Carol Aslanian, Member of the AGBU Central Board, Mr. Brad Butt, Member of the Canadian Parliament for Mississauga-Streetsville, His Grace Bishop Abgar Hovakimyan, Primate, and AGBU Alex Manoogian School Board Chairman Armen Bechakjian.

Addressing a capacity crowd of 400 community members, proud parents, friends and supporters, School Principal Chahe Tanachian recounted the many academic achievements, commending the dedicated staff members and teachers who have served the School with passion and resilience.

Principal Chahe Tanachian and Director General Sébastien Stasse proudly presented the graduating classes with their diplomas, awarding the students for their many achievements.
Mr. Armen Bechakjian, Chairman of the School Board, commended all graduating classes and urged them to carry on the values instilled in them by the School to preserve and promote the Armenian identity and heritage, and stressing the importance of giving back to the community.

Ms. Carol Aslanian gave an inspirational message to the graduates as well, urging them to target excellence and to become achievers and leaders in their community.

Closing remarks were made by His Grace Bishop Abgar Hovakimian who congratulated the students and their families on this happy occasion and wished them continued success in their academic journey.

Following the graduation, a banquet-party was organized by the parents committee at the Alex Manoogian Community Center for the graduates, their parents, families and friends.
