On Sunday, April 2, 2016, more than 300 people gathered at the Alex Manoogian School for a special breakfast-brunch organized for the newly arrived Syrian-Armenian families. Volunteers from the school worked tirelessly to make this event a memorable one, as children and parents got together for a great cause.

Donations were received on this occasion and the profit went towards the Syrian-Armenian Students Educational Fund. The school has special welcoming classes for the newly arrived students, helping them integrate in the local educational system.

A special thanks to Mrs. Sonia Kalaydjian, the main organizer of the event and the many volunteer staff, parents and students who gave a helping hand in the success of the event. AGBU continues to support the newly arrived families in their integration process in their new country Canada and helps the children receive a proper education in an Armenian environment. All those present praised the event and thanked the school for this kind gesture.
