FASHION-SHOW

On Sunday March 26, 2017, attendees at the Annual Fundraiser Fashion Show of the AGBU Alex Manoogian School were left in awe at the exceptional spectacle they were offered, a result of months of hard work, dedication and ingenuity. Students, graduates and other young Armenians from the community participated in ten beautiful scenes, each one showcasing a unique clothing brand. Armenian and non-Armenian stores and brands were extremely generous to have offered the dresses and accessories to make this Fashion Show a relentless success. We cannot thank them enough for their kindness.

The choreographies were perfectly executed by our volunteer models, who made it seem this was what they did for a living. The organizers were proud to introduce Syrian-Armenian and now Canadian upcoming designer Nareg’s exquisite creations that brought tears to the eyes of so many in the beautifully transformed hall of the School. On top of all, the event had the privilege to have CTV’s Lori Graham as Master of Ceremonies. Lori was tremendous in bringing a message of benevolence to the audience, explaining why such community events are so important and essential.

We would like to thank the Honorary Presidents of the event, Mr. & Mrs. Papken and Yeran Akkelian for their generosity and for believing in this project. A special thank you to all the donators who supported this event by giving generously to the school, which accomplishes a critical mission to develop the younger generation of our community. Behind the scenes, so many volunteers, including the parents committee members, worked tirelessly to offer the audience an extraordinary show that will become a new reference for community events.

On behalf of the AGBU Alex Manoogian School Management and Board of Directors, we would like to thank the architects of this event, three ladies who worked day and night, put their personal lives aside, to make this show a resounding success. These modern time heroines are Sossi Manoukian, Marcelle Meterissian and Nayri Georges.

THANK YOU!
