Art has an important role and is an integral part of the AGBU Alex Manoogian School. Music, choir, Armenian dance and theatre are part of the curriculum, as the students get enriched with culture and the opportunity to be on stage.

The evening began with Armenian dance by the students from the 5th to 8th grade. Armenian dance classes are taught by Mr. Ludwig Boulghadaryan, a renowned Armenian dance master who not only teaches the students the origins of Armenian dance but its specificities depending on the historic regions of Armenia. The show continued with French theatre, songs and poems as well as the little kids from the Kindergarten who made a presentation celebrating the Armenian Alphabet. The last spot was given to the school’s choir, under the leadership of Mr. Artur Markosyan. The choir presented 6 songs including the Shoushi Anthem and Azg Parabanz.

More than 200 students performed on stage during the evening, which left the parents in awe.
