AGBU Montreal held an event as part of the Manuel Keusseyan Armenological Lecture Series for the launch of photographer Hrair Hawk Khatcherian’s latest book 100. The book, dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide, is an extensive collection composed primarily of photographs of Western Armenia and Cilicia.

The program began with opening remarks by Rahel Ourfalian, the executive secretary of the AGBU Montreal Chapter, and continued with a speech by Haytoug Chamlian, who introduced the author and his book. Khatcherian then began his presentation, which included numerous photographs from his book and a lively, detailed explanation of his work and artistic approach. The evening continued with conversations between the audience and the author and ended with a sense of anticipation for the release of Khatcherian’s next book.
