Armenia’s Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan receives AGBU President Berge Setrakian

RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received President of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) Berge Setrakian.

Minister Hakobyan greeted the guests, expressed her appreciation of the fruitful work that the Armenian General Benevolent Union carries out in Armenia and abroad and praised the role of the organization in preserving the Armenian heritage and identity in the Diaspora. The sides discussed issues related to the formation of the Pan-Armenian Council.

Presenting the Union’s programs and activities, AGBU President Berge Setrakian emphasized the importance of consolidating young Armenian professionals, as well as the development and implementation of joint programs and projects aimed at identifying the potential of gifted and successful Armenians.

Member of the AGBU Central Board Vasken Yacoubian also attended the meeting.
